ABOUT AeSI (AERONAUTICAL SOCIETY OF INDIA)

Aeronautical Society of India was established in 1948 under the societies registration Act XXI of 1860 with support and Patronage of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who also become the society’s first Patron-in-chief.The Society was formally inaugurated by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru at the Puttanna Chetty Town Hall, Banglore on 27th, December 1948.The objective of the society is to promote the advancement and diffusion of the knowledge of the aeronautical science and aircraft engineering and elevation of aeronautical profession.

The society provides a platform to professionals in the field of aeronautics, organizes, seminars, workshops and conferences to promote aeronautics and bring greater awareness in this field.

ABOUT THE COURSE

Aeronautical Society of India conducts the examination and awards the degree AMAeSI which is recognised by the Govt. Of India as an equivalent degree in Aeronautical Engineering of any Indian University. The Government of India recognises a pass in the A.M.Ae.S.I. Examination a section A & B levels for the purpose of recruitment to executive posts and commissioned ranks in the Services in the appropriate fields under the central Government. Candidates with A.M.Ae.S.I. qualification are eligible to apply for any job in Aeronautics where B.E. is prescribed as the minimum qualification for the post .They are also eligible to pursue post Graduation course.

The Degree is valid in India & abroad too, just as B.E. /B.Tech. From University .as there is a great demand of qualified aircraft engineers in India as well as abroad, candidate who successfully complete this course will be able to obtain lucrative jobs in the field of aviation, minimum Marks for exemption(Pass) in any subject is 50%.
