These are the days of liberation, privatisation & globalization with economy that is flourishing like nerve before, sunny days are here again for the students who wish to pursue their career in engineering / technology. The engineering profession is undergoing a major transcendence. India is emerging as a fast growing nation. To keep up with the pace of economy we need to improve upon our professional skills. At PIACS & Global Academy we have accepted the challenge of developing all round competence of students by cultivating them to become real global resources.

The credibility of any education system of a country depends upon the institution’s faculty members and students. Following this tradition at PIACS we infuse sincerity, hardwork, integrity and reading as a regular habit among our students.

The grooming is further done through our industry oriented focused teaching which gives immense satisfaction to our students who are going to face the ever changing challenges of globalization. The idea behind all this effort is to develop our students as a multitalented complete professional personality. In short we are trying to impart education in such a way that not only they get academic knowledge but also practical exposure. Education gives to a person, knowledge, skill and above all, the very attitude of life. It is a life long process designed to mould one’s behaviors into a socially acceptable one. It leads a person in learning ethical values. Ethics is about right and wrong – the basic code of civilized behaviour. These ethical values are formed as a result of training and willful conviction and so are different from emotional desires. A committed teacher tries to help his/her students to lead a life devoid of these sins.

Dr. Sarvepalli Tadhkrishna said, “Teaching profession is both heaven and hell!” It is heaven for those who command respect and hell for those who demand respect. PIACS is proud to say that we have galaxy of such highly respected teachers. The present faculty humbly takes up this mantle from its predecessors, in shaping the future India and the world.

Pune has long since come to be regarded as the Oxford of the East by scholars from across the globe. Whether it is the areas of science and technology. Commerce and management or literature and arts, Pune is the home to some of the finest and most prestigious institution’s in the country.

PIACS & Global Academy ensure that its students are provided with every possible inout required to afford them a clear understanding of the fundamentals of technology. Armed with this self-assuredness only than comes the mastery of one’s subject, and then our students are in the best position to transform their dreams into reality. This modest yet highly effective approach towards education has made PIACS’ students stand apart in today’s result-oriented corporate world.

And it is with keeping this is in mind that we at PIACS endeavour to nurture and mentor the bright, young minds of the students. Just as ethics and social responsibility are some of the key issues that are calling for the attention of many organizations, similarly employee motivation and competence level have become indispensable aspects that demand the attention of the employers today. In our opinion, the need now is to nurture students who define their own benchmarks, students who align their parameters of success with their most ambitious dreams, thus leading the industry in general and their organization in particular to the path of growth and development.

Wish you all the very best.

India is the second largest democratic country in the world, with an excellent track record of more than 60 years as an independent nation. Most of the people on the campus are born in free India. None of us know how our nation was when it went through the birth pangs, but are enjoying the fruits of the labour of our forefathers. We thank the Lord our God for their sacrifices. On the eve of the first Independence Day, Pt. Nehru in his address to the nation, pointed out that the main task on independent India is to end poverty, disease and inequality. Since then, even though several measures are taken to reach these goals, they still remain unfulfilled. Education plays a key role in scaling these mountains. Does education mean graduating, landing up in fat paying jobs or flying off to distant lands for greener pastures?

“If you are truly educated, the suffering of every individual will hurt you as if it is your own suffering.”

There is no second thought of the unique and central role of education in realizing a free, fair and confident society. The problems we are facing in our nation look immense. But borrowing from the confidence of Pt. Nehru, we can overcome them with our strong will and determination. We have to transform our country by creating a knowledge-based society. We may not always be able to build the future for our youth – but we should build our youth to face the future. We should not produce just job seekers – we should instead, produce job creators. Gaining knowledge is an integral part of human life and culture. We traversed a very long way from “Guru sishya parampara” of old vedic ages to this present day of making fun of teachers! Teaching is considered to be a noble and pious duty as it enlightens the innocent child.

PIACS lays emphasis on innovative learning & teaching methodology, which is the mantra of the great Indian temples of learning. We provide a very conducive environment to all our students to emulate the success story of seniors passing out from these great institutions.
